We Keep it Local

The profits from your donations go right back into our local community. We contribute our quarterly profits to local charities that help our community grow stronger and smarter.

We're the Resource in Your Neighborhood

It's easy to drop off donations at our shop. Park on Western Avenue and bring them in the front door anytime during our business hours. If you have a large donation, such as furniture items or more than 10 bags and boxes at one time, please give us a call before coming at 847-482-1705.

We Love Good + Used

Frankly speaking, we can't take everything you may be clearing out. Like you, we're limited by space, and some of the items you don’t want should be recycled at other outlets instead of Forest & Found.

To recycle responsibly and efficiently, please refer to the lists below of items we can and can't accept. Like a mini department store, we stock a variety of items we know our customers are looking for.

Then, scroll down for our guide to recycling the most common specialized and obsolete household items. When you click on each link, you'll find specific information on what and where to bring your recyclables.
