How to donate

Bring donations through our front door.
Please ask if you need help unloading your car! We’re glad to help.

We accept donations during store hours, which are:
Monday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday from 10am to 4pm.

What to donate

Clothing for women, men and kids
These are our best sellers, both modern and vintage. Clothing items should be clean and ready to wear without stains or tears.

Handbags, jewelry, scarves
These are our second best sellers.

Decorative items
Objets, frames, lamps, art, vases

Seasonal and Holiday decorations
Christmas, Halloween, Easter, Summertime et al

Accessories
Scarves, hats, gloves, mittens, backpacks and related

Kitchen items
Cookware, bakeware, ceramics, countertop machines that are clean and in excellent working conditions

Tabletop
Dishes, glassware, china, crystal and flatware

Furniture - small pieces are okay, such as coffee and side tables, footstools and occasional chairs. If you have larger furniture, call or email us a picture beforehand so we can gauge if we have space.

We don't accept

Printers, monitors, computers, cables and connectors, CD’s, VHS and cassette tapes, remotes.

Crutches, walkers, boots and slings

Treadmills, stationary bikes, massage chairs and other large fitness equipment

Cribs, car seats, bouncy chairs and other large baby gear and large plastic toys

Mattresses, tires, large tools, pool equipment, carpeting pieces, paint

Donate books to the Friends of the Lake Forest Library. Donate children’s book to Bernie’s Book Bank.
